Somewhere In Between
With inspiration from early photographers such as Julia Margaret Cameron and writers such as Lewis Carroll and Angela Carter, somewhere in between explored romantic notions of childhood, sleep and dreams. Using photographs of my then eight year old sister, Lola, silk-screened onto sheets, blankets and quilts the work was exhibited as part of Signals: Festival of Women Photographers in Brighton, Cambridge, Colchester and Southend. Included here are some of the pieces from the series.
