An Introduction...

This site is a window, a portal perhaps, into my work over the last fifteen years or so. Traditionally resistant to definitions, I have often found it difficult to pigeonhole my practice as it materialises in many forms. However, as discordant as it may initially sometimes appear, there are always certain threads that run through my meanderings and search for greater understanding.

Fundamentally, the core interest within my work has been a continuing exploration of our internal landscapes and how these manifest. My journey has taken shape both as an artist and water-based movement teacher. And, as if being haunted by a deep connective beat, my fascinations come back to, time and time again, the seeming intangibility of conscious engagement, wakefulness, embodiment and our relationship to the present moment.

Water, movement, dance, film, photography, dressmaking and writing continue to interweave as my mediums of choice within my explorations. I hope you enjoy learning about them and my work through this site.
